Best Partnerships in Test Cricket for Bangladesh

Bangladeshi players are not best known for their partnerships.  It is very rare to have big partnerships among Bangladeshi players. In my point of view, the rest of them are good players but they really lack the sense of building partnerships. That’s why they lose so many matches. Tamim Iqbal from Bangladesh is just an amazing opener but most of the time there is no one on the other end to help him out. If we look at the best partnership in test for Bangladesh it is 200 runs between Tamim and Junaid Siddique, which is very low in comparison to other teams.

Although initially Bangladesh Cricket Team was taken as a new comer and a minnow in Test Cricket, their performance in 2011 has improved a lot. Though they are still looking forward to convincingly beat any of the main teams, they are now considered as a serious challenge to any other Test playing cricket team. Bangladesh Cricket Team has shown improvement in the partnerships too.

As far as Test cricket is concerned, Bangladesh cricket team is a young squad. Test cricket is the most serious and professional form of cricket. With experience every team grows in performance. Similar performance improvement has been observed in Bangladesh Cricket team too. However, despite some single handed heroics by the batsmen or all rounders like Tamim Iqbal and Shakib ul Hassan, the team overall has not performed exceptionally well so far. Still, looking at the talent Bangladesh team possesses, one can hope that in future, much better performances from this team can be expected in Test Cricket.
