The 11th match of the Prudential World Cup was the first ODI match played between the Australian cricket team and the West Indies cricket team in the year 1975.
- Ian Chappell was the captain of the great Aussies ( The Australian cricket team) in the first ODI played against the West Indies cricket team where as the famous “Windies” were being captained by CH Lloyd at that time.
- The two umpires in the first ODI match between these two cricket teams were HD Bird and DJ Constant.
- On the grounds of Kennington Oval, London, the Aussies and the Windies encountered each other for the first time in this history of ODIs on 14th June 1975. West Indies won by seven wickets.
- Against the West Indies cricket team, Mark Waugh, Allan Border and Ricky Ponting have been performing outstandingly while on the bowling side, Shane Warne and CJ McDermott, the Australian bowlers have taken the maximum number of wickets against the Windies.
- Famous West Indian cricket players DL Haynes, IVA Richards, Brian Lara, CEL Ambrose and J Garner are the eminent players of the West Indies cricket team who have been playing superbly against the Aussies through out the ODIs.
- 125 ODI matches have been played between the two cricket teams up till today. 63 have been won by the Aussies, 2 have been tied so far and 57 have been won by the West Indies players.
- The highest ODI team score has been scored by Australia against the Windies on the grounds of Basseterre in 2006. 341 runs on the cost of 8 wickets in 50 overs.
- Tthe highest ODI individual score has been made by the Australian batsman, Steve Waugh (173) against the West Indies cricket members on the fields of Melbourne in the year 2001.
- The best bowling figures in the ODIs between Australian and West Indies cricket team is of WW Davis, one of the Windies. He took seven wickets against the Australian players in the ODI played in 1983.
- Most number of wickets has been taken by an Australian player, CJ McDermott in the ODIs played against the West Indian cricket team.
- Coming towards the wicket keeping records, IA Healy has the most number of dismissals record against the West Indies cricket team.
- The last ODI played between the two teams was on 19thfeb 2010 at Melbourne where Australia won by 125 runs.

The Australian and the Indian cricket team for the first time come across each other in the ODI in the year 1980 in the Benson and Hedges World Series Cup which took place in Australia.
- Popular Australian cricket player Gregory Chappell was the captain of the Australian cricket team where as the Men in Blue i.e. the Indian cricket team was being captained by Sunil Gavaskar during the first ODI played between he two teams.
- MG O’ Connell and RV White head were the two umpires in the first ODI Match played between the Aussies and the Men in Blue.
- On the fields of Melbourne, Australian cricket team stepped into their first ODI against the Indian cricket team and won the match.
- RT Ponting, ML Hayden, AC Gilchrist and DC Boon from the Australian cricket team have been seen to perform really well against the Indian players. SR Waugh and B Lee have also been bowling stunningly taking the maximum number of wickets in the ODI matches against the Indian cricket team.
- From the Indian cricket squad, SR Tedulkar and Muhammad Azhrudin have been the key batsmen playing marvelously against the Aussies in the ODIs. On the bowling side, Kapil Dev and AB Agarkar have been performing really well taking the maximum number of wickets in the ODIs played against the Australian players.
- A total of 105 ODI matches have been played between these two cricket teams. Out of 105, the Aussies have won 61 matches while in the rest of the 36 ODIs, the Indian players were the victorious ones.

At Bridgetown, West Indian cricket team played for the first time in the T20 world cup against the Australian cricket team. West Indies beat the Aussies in the first T20 match which was held on 2oth june 2008.
- DJ Bravo was the caption of the West Indies Cricket team, also known as the Windies, in the First T20 match played against Australian cricket team which was being captained by RT Ponting.
- BR Doctrove and CR Duncan were the umpires in the first T20 match between the Aussies and the Windies.
- On the grounds of Bridgetown, West Indies cricket team played against the Australian team the first T20 match.
- West Indies won its first T20 match against Australia by 7 wickets.
- A total of five T20 matches have been played between the two teams up till today.
- CH Gayle and ADS Fletcher have been eminent players in the t20 matche from the Lions team. On the bowling sideNO Miller, DJ Bravo and Chris Gayle showed splendid performance and took several important wickets.
- DA Warner and Shane Watson have been batting very well from the Australian team. Where as on the bowling side, DP Nannes and MG Johnson have been seen to bowl very soundly.
- The Windies has won three t20 matches against the Australian cricket team where as Australian cricket team has defeated the Windies only twice.
- 179 runs have been the highest score up to date made by the Australian team against the West Indies cricket team on 21st February on the grounds of Hobart.
- The highest individual score (88) so far has been made by CH Gayle of the West Indies Cricket team against the Aussies in the T20 matches.
- DP Nannes and MG Johonsons of the Australian cricket team have taken the most number of wickets in T20 matches against the Windies where as the best bowling figures are of SPD Smith who’s also an Australian player.
- Coming to the wicket keeping figures, BJ Haddin, an Aussi and the West Indies cricket player D Ramdin hold the record of maximum number of dismissals in the t20 internationals.
- The last up to date T20 match played between Australian and West Indies cricket team was on 11th May 2010 on the fields of Gros Islet.

The Indian cricket team encountered the Aussies for the first time in the T20 world cup on the grounds of Kingsmead in Durban. It was the 2nd semi final match of the ICC T20 world cup 2007 which occurred on the 22nd of September.
- Mahendra Singh Dhoni was the captain of Men in blue i.e the Indian cricket team at the time of their first T20 match played against the Aussies where as Ricky Ponting was the captain of the Australian cricket team.
- Asad Rauf and MR Benson were the umpires of the first T20 match played between the Men in Blue and the Aussies.
- On the fields of Kingsmead in Durban, the two cricket teams came face to face for the first time in the T20 world cup.
- The Indian cricket team won its first T20 match against the Aussies which was a semi final match played on 22nd September 2007. India won by a margin of 15 runs.
- Four T20 matches have been played between Indian cricket team and Australian cricket team up till today.
- G Ghambir, RG Sharma and Yuvraj Singh have been performing tremendously against the Aussies where as on the bowling side IK Pathan and Yuvraj Singh of the Indian cricket team have been seen to bowl well in matches against the England cricket team.

- Score of 188 has been the highest T20 score up to date made by Men in blue against the Australian cricket team in the 2nd semi-finals of the ICC T20 world cup 2007.
- RG Sharma, the Indian cricket player holds the record of the highest individual score made against the Australian Players in Bridgetown on 7th May 2010.
- NW Bracken and SW Tait, the two Aussies have the best bowling figures against the Indian cricket team in the T20 matches where as the maximum number of wickets have been taken by IK Pathan, the Indian team bowler.
- Against The Indian cricket team as well, popular Australian cricket player Adam Gilchrist holds the record of the most dismissals in the T20 matches.
- The last match played between the two cricket teams was at Bridgetown on 7th May 2010 which was the 15th match of the tournament where the Aussies won by 49 runs.

The Bengalis were given permission to play test cricket in 2000 and happen to be the last one as yet to get test status. They made their debut in the same year against Indian cricket team in Dhaka. The Australians have been playing test cricket since 1877, when they made their debut against the English. The two teams (Bangladesh and Australia) came across each other for the first time in 2003 at the Marrara cricket ground Darwin.
- Australians are nick named as the Aussies or the Kangaroos and the Bengali cricketers are often termed as the Bengali tigers.
- Khaled Mahmud was the captain for the Bangladeshi cricket team in the first encounter and SR Waugh was the Aussies captain.
- They played in the Marrara Cricket ground Darwin.
- RE Koertzen and DR Shepherd were the field umpires and SJA Taufel was the TV umpire and as for the Match referee MJ Procter of South Africa was appointed.
- DS Lehman, Habibul Bashar, SR Waugh, RT Ponting, Khaled Mashud, Mohammad Rafique, B Lee, Alok Kapali, Javed Omar, MEK Hussey, ML Hayden, AL Sahariar, Abdur Razzak, Hannan Sarkar, JL Langer, DR Martyn, SK Warne and MJ Clarke have been the key performers from both the sides.
- In all just 4 matches have been played between the two teams and none have been won by the Bengali tigers.
- Aussies have a 100% winning ratio against them up till now.
- Highest test runs scored by the Australian cricket team in an innings were 581/4(declared) and the highest total by the Bengali Cricket team is 427 runs.
- Highest individual score by the Australian cricketers was by DS Lehman 287 runs and just 5 runs short stands Habibul Bashar(282runs) of the Bengali Tigers.
- Top scorer in an innings was JN Gillespie 201 runs not out. And quite down in the list lies Shahriar Nafees of the Bengali cricket team with 138 runs.
- SCG MacGill has the highest number of wickets in aggregate i.e. 33 wickets in just 4 matches. And for the Bengalis Mohammad Rafique stands 4th in the list with 11 wickets.
- SCG MacGill has the highest number of wickets in an innings as well i.e. 8 and he also happens to be the leading wicket taker in a match i.e. 10 wickets.
- AC Gilchrist has showed the best wicket keeping skills for the Aussies against the Tigers by causing 15 dismissals.
- The last test match was played at Chittagong in the April of 2006 (16th-20th) and was the 2nd test of the series.
- The two countries do not have a very prominent record due to the less number of encounters.
