Yet again it’s Australia! It is the only nation in cricket world that possesses a lot many records in its briefcase. Coming on to Cricket World Cups, Australia has dominated across the board. Since the inception of Cricket World cup, Aussies are the toppers in scoring most centuries up till now. Australian batting has scored 22 centuries during 1975-2007 Cricket World Cup tournaments. Mark Waugh has made four centuries for Australia in the discussed tournament. Next stands India with second highest number of centuries in Cricket World Cup. Top Ten Captains of India in Test Cricket
Kapil Dev achieved a lot of success with the Indian team. It was under his captaincy that India started to flourish and have since then maintained their position. He proved to be a very competitive captain.
Next came Mohammad Azharuddin who was again a very cool and relaxed personality. He achieved a lot of fame as his stint of being the captain of team India.
In test cricket, Ganguly proved to be the mentor for all the younger players of the current team, and that same team has taken India to newer heights. And today India is the number one test side in the world. The captains of India have always known their responsibility and have never backed out in any game.

India has been exceptionally good in One Day Internationals. It was under the captaincy of Kapil Dev that they won the World Cup in 1983. He was again brilliant on the field.
Rahul Dravid is a guy of very cool temperament, but unfortunately India hasn’t performed that well during his captaincy; nevertheless, that doesn’t make him bad in the game or as a captain. He always came up with new tactics on the field of which some worked very well for the team.
Ganguly was again one such captain of a string of successful captains India has, as can be seen even today with the wonderful results achieved by MS Dhoni, who is the reason behind India being the most feared. Most matches have been won under his captaincy. Top ten captains of India in one day international cricket are:

Top Ten Catchers / Fielders of India in Test Cricket
India has had and continues to have very successful players and is also known to have a very good fielding side. However, in recent times, Indian fielding and catching in test cricket has been very sloppy and way below international standards, as Dhoni as a captain has been very uninspiring.
But only by blaming the fielding of the Indian players they miss out on the actual point of what went wrong. Indian players have what it takes to reach the top, and this is what helps them in achieving their set targets.
Every player in the team is unique and all that is required is that they find out their strengths and work towards improving it. Here are top ten fielders of India in test cricket:

Top Ten Catchers / Fielders of India in ODI Cricket
In One Day Internationals, fielding has been the cause of worry for India and has cost them the last few matches. Indian fielders have never been weak in their performances prior to this; because of that their capability is now being tested.
Though the team does appear to be very confident in the forthcoming One Day Internationals, to prove it, they need to add a little more consistency to their game. One aspect which needs to be taken care of is that they don’t let the opponent team score well in the first few over itself.
India needs to have back breaking performances so as to match the brilliant standards set by other teams such as Australia and South Africa. Top ten fielders of India in ODI are:
1. M. Azharuddin
2. Sachin Tendulkar
3. Rahul Dravid
4. S.C. Ganguly

Top Ten Catchers / Fielders of India in T20 Cricket
India truly has the passion for this format of the game, which can be seen in their style of playing. Their first win of the T20 World Cup showed some remarkable performances.
But slowly the fielding performances were deteriorating and this could be because of the ongoing IPL which lasted two months. This could have made them lazy and complacent. T20 is such that one wrong ball can cause the entire match to the team. Indian players need to be more alert and attentive because of this.
It is time India takes it professionally and become organized so that it helps them in the long run. The Indian players should take it upon themselves as a challenge. Top ten fielders of Indian cricket team in T20 are:
1. Y.K. Pathan
2. R.G. Sharma
