The Pakistan cricket team and England cricket team have been facing each other for many years and because the cricket team of England is very good, they had many victories against the Pakistan cricket team. Until now almost 67 test matches have been played between these two teams and out of these 67 matches, the Pakistan cricket team won only 12 matches whereas the England cricket team is leading by winning 21 matches but the remaining 34 matches are drawn which shows that both teams tried their best to win and gave tough time to each other. The Pakistan cricket team  made some records against English cricket team which are listed below.

Test cricket records: Pakistan cricket team vs English cricket team

  • The Pakistan cricket team has a record of the highest total score of 708 all out against England in the Oval in August 1987.
  • Zaheer Abbas, a tremendous player of the Pakistan cricket team, has a record of the highest individual score against England in Edgbaston in June 1971.
  • Abdul Qadir, the best bowler of the Pakistan cricket team has a record of the best bowling of the innings by getting 9 wickets and giving only 56 runs against England in Qadafi stadium Lahore in 1987.
  • Wasim Bari of the Pakistan cricket team made a record of the most catches in a match against England. He caught 8 catches in Headingly in July 1971.

The Pakistan cricket team has played many matches against the England cricket team and due to its bad performance, lost most of the matches. After the independence day and until now, the Pakistan cricket team has played almost 66 matches and out of these 66 matches, the Pakistan cricket team won only 26 matches while England won 36 matches and no match was drawn. In spite of the bad performance of the Pakistan cricket team, there are some records the Pakistan cricket team made against England and a few of them are mentioned below.

ODI cricket records: Pakistan cricket team vs English cricket team

  • The Pakistan cricket team has a record of the highest score of 353 for 6 wickets against England in Lahore Qadafi stadium in December 2005.
  • Ijaz Ahmed of the Pakistan cricket team has a record for the highest individual score of 137 against England in the Coca Cola Cup in April 1999.
  • Waqar Younus of the Pakistan cricket team has a record for the best bowling against England. He got 7 wickets for just 36 runs in June 2001.
  • Moin Khan, the best wicket keeper of the Pakistan cricket team, has a record for the most stumps in a match against England with 3 stumps in a match in Qadafi stadium Lahore in October 2000.

Even though the Twenty Twenty game format has been recently introduced, very few matches have been played between the teams and due to this very short period of time, the Pakistan cricket team and England cricket team had very few matches with each other. Until now only 7 matches have been played between these two teams and out of these 7 matches the Pakistan cricket team won only 2 matches and the remaining matches were won by the England cricket team. In spite of the bad performance of the Pakistan cricket team there are some records for both the teams against each other.
