Abdur Razzaq is right handed batsman and right arm fast-medium bowler and is still part of Pakistan cricket team. 

  • Abdul Razzaq began his one day career with Pakistan cricket team in 1996 against Zimbabwe but was dropped from the team for his poor performance.
  • He was introduced as a fast bowler originally but proved to be a fruitful batsman as he could play very well against the fast bowlers.
  • In 265 one day international matches, Abdul Razzaq has scored 5080 runs with 3 centuries and 23fifties. (112 best)
  • Abdul Razzaq of Pakistan cricket team has taken 269 wickets with 3 five wicket hauls in aggregate. (6/35 being his best figures)
  • He has played in 3 ICC cricket world tournaments and has been performing pretty consistently. Razzaq’s batting skills got polished mainly in the 1999 Cricket World Cup and now is one of the most dangerous late middle order batsman.

Currently as of 2014, Razzaq has become a part of controversy where he has openly criticized Pakistan Cricket Board for being inconsiderate about his talent. Razzaq still believes that he can perform really well in all cricket formats and should be permanent part of Pakistan cricket team.
