  • Till 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup, England cricket team had been performing well. But from 1999 ICC Cricket World Cup India has been on the upper hand by winning world cup matches by big margins.
  • It is worth mentioning that Indian cricket team defeated English cricket team in the semi-finals of 1983 Cricket World Cup to get their place in finals and finally winning the world cup beating West Indies while England defeated India in the semi-finals of 1987 Cricket World Cup to get their position in the finals.

In reply to his awesome innings, Andrew Strauss played an absolutely amazing innings of 154 runs which helped England to tie the match at the score of 388.

 Both these teams have the ability of challenging the opponents to the limit. This 2011 world cup England vs. India match was a high scoring and very entertaining game.
